When asked about her most memorable SI session, she responded, "There was one right at the beginning of the year when one of the students (the only male who came to SI) came bursting in to the session and up to the front to where I was sitting and asked, 'Are mashed potatoes carbs or starch?' I tried for a minute to rationalize with him and figure out how this related to the class and he said, 'It doesn’t. I was just wondering, because I just ate like three cups, you’re supposed to know this.' Still, none of us understood why he was asking, but everybody started laughing. It made the rest of the session very laid back and enjoyable."
