Make an Academic Tutor Appointment

Northern Kentucky University TutorTrac allows you to make an appointment with an Academic Tutor (or Writing Center Consultant or Math Center Tutor). However, all Academic Tutor appointments MUST be scheduled no later than 8:00 PM ONE DAY PRIOR TO THE APPOINTMENT DATE.

NKU TutorTrac also provides you with tutors’ telephone numbers and email addresses. If you would rather arrange an appointment on a day and/or time more convenient for you, you may use the contact information for that purpose.

An NKU TutorTrac link is located on Norse Express as well as under Related Links to the right.

If you are not familiar with NKU TutorTrac, below are step-by-step directions on how to make an appointment (or access tutor contact information). You might want to print them!

  • Go to NKU TutorTrac.
  • Login: Your login name is your university email prefix.
  • Password: Enter your university login password.
  • Go to dropdown menu to Make Appointment.
  • Select a center (Academic).
  • Select a course (ex: UNV101).
  • Click Search.
  • Scroll down for available days/times.
  • Locate desired day, time range; Click on it.
  • Set exact start Time.
  • Accept Duration of .5 hour or change to 1.
  • Click Save Appointment. (To delete a saved appointment, click its date; click Delete.)
  • Click Exit.
